Whenever you stumble...

A mare raised her head from where she had been grazing. The sun was now but a memory, the faintest glow on the horizon that was dimming quickly. Twilight settled over the peaceful land, and the fatelle that was the only one to witness it. Stars shone above her, offering the only light as it was the time of the new moon. Her silvered mane created a stark contrast against her deep brown pelt. The mare was deceptively delicate looking, dainty even. But in her eyes shone a dark fire. She would be a fine prize, if she could be won. If. For this was Olath An'ar, the dark dancer. Truly, she wasn't even sure why she had bothered to come here. She did that often, drifted. Even though she now belonged to a herd, she still maintained the nature of one without a home to go to. A drifter, solitary, even if she did find a mate she wouldn't be seen by him often. Her audits swiveled suddenly, catching the sound of an equine approach. She shifted slightly so she could face whoever it was.
